Um, no.. the video was added to the site on Jan 2, the video itself is quite old -- 2000 to be exact. Why in the right mind would Sony make an ad about a console that'll be dead in less than half a year? o_O;;

If I remember correctly, that was the very first commercial for the PS2 (or something similar in time/release). However the commercial stated "2078" or something like that for the PS9's release. That's a far-off time for a PS9, especially going by 5-year average lifespan for consoles. Hehe. Of course, that's reading too far into it.

'Twas a good reminder of how long Sony's hype machine has been workin' it.
