It's the same as ruby and saph with a twist involving the legendarys. Who cares. Fire emblem rocks, and you only have to buy one version.

it has better graphics, new clothes, new plot twists, and other stuff, including the battle frontier. Plus, it is a great RPG

man not everything has to revolve around fire emblem, there are some great and most probably better games out there. its a matter of taste, in my opinion pokemon is the best all round rpg, and most user-friendly-pick up-and-play rpg you will get on a hand held
