RE: DSonline
well the PS2 and Xbox wher $800 over here on relese and the cube ws $300
so i doubt the PS3 or Xbox360 will be under a $1000 out here $500us ($750 AUS) for a Blue-ray disc reader i dont think so when DVD readers cme out in the early 80's they where $1500 and the discs where $30 each and blue-ray isnt even out yet

RE: The Sites Progress
personally i refuse to pay over €60 for a game. If the likes of sony, EA, microsoft, nintendo etc think they can keep rising prices every generation then go away. Ill get DS games, PC games and look to the indie developer scene for cheaper games. €60 is pushing it as it is so they can stuff there price hike.
Don't think that nintendo making development easier will bring down prices. Chances are they would charge €70 anyway to increase profit margins. However from what i read the hike will only go on high profile games like Halo. the rest will the stay the same. as for sony selling the PS3 for $500 i wouldn't be surprised at all. We were all surprised with the PSPs price when it was announced. i wouldn't expect it to go much higher than an Xbox 360 in price, otherwise microsoft would just clean house and it would probably be a microsoft/nintendo war. Sony know that microsoft are a real threat to their dominance. |
