I wouldn't mind having to wait, as long as it's good. I just think that this is unlikely, especially considering the source and timing.

I had heard that Nintendo will beat PS3 to the market place...

I think Nintendo should wait until after the release of the PS3 for the Revolution, so they can see what Sony came up with and make the Revolution better. Plus, if it takes longer it'll attract more gamers.

I think your under estamating just how much Nintendo tests there hardware.
It's not like they're see blue-ray on the PS3 in feb 06 and switch to that for a march launch.
Plus they shall see the PS3 a week from now.
