When did you guys get your first tamagotchi? What did you think of it? Yes, I am admitting to owning one. I mean, who hasn't -- unless they lived under a rock.

What's sad is that I was so desperate that I got a PINK tamagotchi instead. Well, that was the last colour =/ And I think I was about 8 years old. Good times.

Ahh I had a Tamagotchi too, I think when I was about 8. My first one was white and my second was clear pink with yellow buttons. Sadly the only thing I remember about the latter was taking it apart when I was 14 to slot in a picture of my idols in the background. It still ended up working except that I couldn't really see the Tamagotchi anymore because of the pic. XD

Never. I had a Gigapet instead, it was a frog. I was about 10 at the time (when Tamagotchi's were popular) and it lasted maybe a year before I started getting bored of it. Once I dropped it in the toilet and quickly fetched it with my hand, fortunately I didn't start my business by then, and it still worked aside from a vertical line of pixels (which I found out a few months later that I had to disconnect the batteries and reconnect them to fix the screen).
