The Sims
Does anyone else find the aspect of controling a virtual you and telling them to do whatever the hell you want them to fun?
I mean, with complete control over your Sim's life, the possibilities are endless... >=)

I think The Sims is a bad example for a virtual self, the control isn't nearly as complete as most MMOG's and the perspective doesn't make it feel so much like it's a virtual self.

well if you get far enough in the game you unlock new interactions! the good part of that is that it gives you somehting to unlock. But the bad part is that some are pointless and there arent that many and they get boring because they do the same thing over and over again till you pick up the controler and put it on the ground. Then you get the cd out and sell it at a game store. well thats what i did... Isnt there a new one coming out for the ds which is like a diffrent version of the ds? well i saw the trailers and it looks like you could have some fun with it.

There is one comming out for the Wii!
It is rumored to have you using your Mii's. But i dotn know about the DS Sims 2 for the DS was terrible.....First Person? WTF!

But yeah. I agree that Sims do get repetitive...but they can be fun when you play with a friend... And making Sims can be fun. I only wish they could be more personalized... >.<
