It will. They're paying the fines for performing the legal act, and thus are
being allowed to distribute. Bear in mind they have to pay 7 million a quarter until
a settlement is made. Sony has this in their pocket.

well i just searched on google and they said sonys first quarter income was 217,224,613.37 USD...so 7 million dollars a quarter shouldnt be much : /

Dumb question. Sony products (definately not just referring to their gaming devices) are prone to falling apart without cause and then you get crappy service.

it wasn't necessarily the company, but more the fans/fanboys of the company. back when i was new to the whole message boards thing, the boards i went to were filled with all kinds of crap about how the PS2 is way better than GC and Xbox. so naturally i defend them both. then i found that most of them were just completely ignorant morons... (like a few were convinced that xbox couldn't play music CDs or DVDs), and then add that to the fact that most PS2 owners i know just bought a PS2 because their friends have one, and you have me convinced that the PS2 is the "ignorant man's system". seriously, almost every PS2 owner i know could not give me 2 valid reasons why PS2 is better than the others. so i guess i just grew to hate it, when i started off a big fan of it. then the PSP comes along, and i find myself in the same situation...

so yea, fanboys pretty much ruined for me.

Precicely mormon... I just blocked two people from my IM list because they won't stop harassing me about PSP. Somehow they think a forum debate that was indecisive is proof (not opinion) that PSP is better. Remember the gametalk debates? Those were fierce...
