How do you get every character?! My memory card was wiped and all the characters were wiped with it. Please help me :(

beat classic on any difficulty with mario to get dr. mario, do the same thing but with anyone to get jigglypuff.

i was thinking about getting this game along with windwaker for £30, brand new from amazon.
is the singal player mode good enough though?

Super Smash Bros. Melee is by far one of the best games for the 'Cube.
