Yeah, anything organized never works for us, TDS is just too dead for it. We could still play occasionally with 2 or 3 people.

No he probably means not many new users are coming who are active.
Most go to the ACWW friend codes thread and post once or twice. Maybe a thread for organising games? BTW mods/admins are probably most active :P

I mean the current active users don't spend much time here anymore and they don't care much about what goes on. I don't know about how active new users are or how fast they come because they all go to the ACWW and Pokemon forums which I ignore.
Something needs to be done to reverse this declining condition, but it's nearly impossible with such a low level of attention and organization. I think I need to talk with some of you outside TDS, it'll probably be easier to get something organized.

Chat. A live conversation moves much quicker and gets a lot done in just a short period, while forums, depending on who's online, can take days to get something simple organized.
I also have my own forums which I just upgraded to phpBB3, which encompasses everything that interests me and then some. I can promise with active members, I'll be checking up on it constantly and doing all I could to keep it active by making content and taking suggestions and stuff. I think I might be able to organize a BF1942 group a lot easier since I can do anything with the forum as admin, such as a mass email to groups of users. The admin control panel on phpBB3 is so incredibly advanced that I have no idea what it can't do that anyone would want it to do. So um... For you guys who want to try what can be done to get this BF group worked out, you might want to try my forums at http://forums.pilot51.com, but by all means the most important thing that needs to be done is to get all of us connected on IM (best if it's Xfire). Not to be pessimistic, but it looks like TDS is slowly going down a one-way road to inactivity, there's just no action coming from the admins to make content or improvements. Wraith, by "one of the most active", that's true, there's 5-10 equally active users and you're one of them. Now if you were to say that you were THE most active, that would be yanking my chain. Not to say that you aren't, but let's not brag, it's way too easy to be the most active in the current state of TDS (albeit boring talking to yourself half the time).
