I'm not a mod but this post would be more suited to the "games section", I believe.
Anyway to answer your point incase this topic is legit - mines is Final Fantasy VII. It will never be bettered.

As for the FE series, it's 4 for me since you have the ability to get off your horse or pegasus, you also have all these latent special abilites that comes out in battles, like "Sun Blade" which heals you for the amount of damage is done to your opponent. My favorite game of all time is Mario Sunshine.
