50 bucks should get you the game and 3 months of play for WoW

There are better games out there, you just need to find them since I can't tell you what you like. Personally I refuse to pay more than once for a game, the total cost needs to come out under $50 for an average game or under $100 for a massive game (like flight simulators that have the entire planet mapped and a bunch of other cool features).

Well for MMOG's I'd recommend There, FPS is just a preferred genre and I can't really recommend it in substitute for an MMOG.

There just sucks for people that can't handle not killing. It's more for people that like stuff like exploring, socializing, quests (like treasure hunts with a story line), racing a variety of vehicles, paintballing, building, machinima movies, listening to Shoutcasts with others around you, and generally having harmless fun.

It's free to download and play, but they still have extras that cost something, not sure how much though.
