Lol, I say that's a good thing. I've lost many-a GW player to WoW. I've played it, it's awesome, but I like GW for different reasons... For instance it doesn't consume my life, but it can.

I wasn't talking about WoW, i wouldn't play it if someone offered me £100... well... maybe 5 minutes, but i'm a GW fan through and through.
I was talking about There, i was curious about it, now i'm not so curious if it's done something to my PC.

It won't do anything to your PC, at least the chances are as much as any other program. It seems There doesn't like your PC configuration, did you check minimum requirements?

The number of programs that have ****ed with my computers in the past is amazing, so i wouldn't be surprised if this one did. Yeah, i did. I've got better on all the requirements, apart from one which is the same.

In that case either those programs that messed up your PC were untrustable (like something containing spyware, a common problem for IE users and pirates) or you have a screwed up PC (common for people that don't really know how to configure a PC and buy their PC's from some place like Dell that throws in a bunch of pesky software and not-so-good hardware).

Excuse me? Don't know how to configure a PC? I've configured loads of 'em i'll have you know. And about the untrustable programs, i've used 'em before on other computers, and they didn't do jack to them.

If you get blue screens, either you have bad hardware/drivers or you configured something wrong. I didn't say you in particular don't know how to configure a PC, just that most people that have lots of problems don't know (and believe me, there's a crap load of PC users that don't know jack about maintaining a PC, 99.5% of them don't build their own PC's). Do you defrag and run checkdisk at least every few months and have a weekly virus scan and only have startup programs/services that you know you want? In your case though, I betcha it's hardware related.

Answer: Yes, yes and yes. I've got TuneUp Utilities, which has all of those checks on there anyways so I just go through them every now and then to check that nothing's gone wrong behind-the-scene. Why do you think mine problems hardware related?
