RE: Guild Wars

Eh, KOTOR II was rushed. Hope they dont' make the same mistake with a sequel.

RE: Guild Wars

I would hope that you can play with the dock attached, seeing as you'd be without a controller while you recharge, or perhaps each controller comes with two batterys and the dock will charge batteries w/ or w/o the controller... (I assume you can trade out the batteries as this is clearly a "me too" wavebird)

I assume that unlike older controllers where you set with a switch which player you are (had SNES contollers that ran on batteries and you simply flicked a player 1 or player 2 switch) the XBOX 360 will take care of tracking which controller is which. (basically every xbox would just need a unique ID (a primary key for you DB guys) and that on boot up the XBOX will assign their ID plus a number 1-4. That said, this is just how I would program it, and hopefully we'll find out how this done May 13th.

EDIT: a few other shots leaked while I was out:
This controller suggests (note the numbers top center) that you choose which player you are)

Something I do like is the headphone/ head set port in the bottom (again, I'm assuming here). I don't know if this means four players will hear 4 different soundtracks/effects but if it does, this will really make life better for multiplayer)
A remote pictured too

there is a camera in the picture.

here are the specs from the link.
These could be completely fake, but some semi-plausible specs for the new Xbox 360, as well as some details about Xbox Live, were posted and then quickly pulled from the TeamXbox forums. The part about it having a 20GB detachable hard drive seems a little sketch, since we’d heard something about it being a 40GB drive, but the rest of it seems to make sense. You have exactly 77 hours to argue over whether or not these are for real.

[Thanks, Joe]
