not exactly a quantum leap in graphics...

hmmm i don't know if i'll get it, i expected more.

Wow. That is very good. From that video it has backwards compatability, to say the least. I'm seeing this as a mini PC.

The following games did not impress me at all: Tony Hawk, Tiger Woods, Perfect Dark Zero, and Madden. I know I'm forgetting one here. Oh well.

Quake IV, Call of Duty 2, Gears of War, and Ghost Recon 3 looked quite impressive, certainly more next-generation looking. Of course, E3 will bring us the satisfaction of more games on display.

The console itself looked quite nice (but wait... faceplates?). I'm impressed overall. The specs are quite nice as well. Check out the new trailer (which answers several questions while also giving you things to think about), courtesy of ourcolony.net:

Now, I'll have to see some of the games, but the hardware is a joke.
liquid cooled? What could go wrong? two fans too? What is wrong with the hardware that it is running so hot?
It's high def and 5.1 surround? Only if your TV and stereo systems are.
It's got a "wave bird" and "GB camera / IToy". Wow, cause I can get those at Walmart today.
It stands on its side? Like the PS2? Removable face plates? Like my crappy cell phome?

512 MB ram? So, why is that good? In fact it's not, it's a problem that occurs with opitical media (which by the way they never did talk about, so I assume it's standard DVD meaning PS3 is going to own them with blue-ray).

X-BOX 360 seems to be playing catch with PS2 and NGC. What are they going to do when the PS3 & Revolution comes out?
About the only thing new is the fact that the hard drive is removable, and from what I understand, the old XBOX had a removable hard drive, but Microsoft didn't like that.

The question what can you do with this that you can't with PS2/NGC/XBOX? Not to much.
If I was Bill Gates, the "X-box Team" would be applying for unemployment right about now.

Most of the "new features" are software. And hardly new. It hooks up to ur MP3 player, it has slide shows, and movies... Wow, cause a seven year old computer can't do that?

The price tag on this horrible experment better not be above $500 (ca) cause Computers start at that now.

which aren't looking too good right now, with the only ones promising being the ones TehDSdude mentioned and Halo 3. that could all change after E3 though.

The question is what does this hardware do (for games) that the PS2 can't?
They haven't said one thing that ment anything to me expect higher def, suround sound and over all pretier games.

As for all the cooling mechanisms, all of those are used in computers. I'm not a bit suprised at any of them. Liquid cooling is quite popular too. Eyetoy is coming out with a video chat service, so screw that. I can't say anything about the Revolution though, because all we know is Wi-Fi, DVDs, backwards compatible, it will not have all the standard buttons, but will have enough to play gc games obviously, and it will have some drastic new feature that might work well, and might flop...

well if its so good that nintendo won't saying anything because they are afraid other people might steal their idea, i think its worth it

Well, I noticed in the video that they did a very breif shot of a bunch of the prototypes, and someone stitched together a panoramic view of them. Very cool. With all those, why in the world did they decide on this dumb-looking one?
