It's just a question, geez. I don't know what both reasons for it being sad to you was, so I was asking if one of them might've been because you didn't get to experience it. Apparently I didn't understand that you weren't talking about yourself, so now I have a different perspective about what those two things might be. I don't demand that my questions be answered, so just tell me if you don't want to answer or don't have an answer and I'll let it be, and chances are I'd still let it be if it was ignored.
I don't like causing arguments, but I am prone to it when it comes to defending myself or something I've said and stand by. I don't understand how my question could have started an argument without another argument-prone person fueling it. I'm not saying you're argument-prone, I just don't understand you very much. Maybe you can tell me how my question made you think I was starting an argument and I'll try to avoid doing it again.
By the way, I agree with you that an argument over my question would not be constructive. If I don't see an argument to be constructive in some way, then I try to stop the argument. In this case I think if there still is an argument, it wouldn't be about the question and thus might have a different value for constructiveness... Not that I would promote its continuation.
I think we just need to focus on understanding each other if only for the purpose of avoiding further arguments.

One more thing. About the other argument, it might be about the logic of my one-liner, but I mostly see it as having educational and comedical value. If you don't see it that way and you want it to stop, just let me know. I don't see any point in continuing such an argument if it wasn't interesting for both sides in some way.

You come onto me as slightly cocky and that annoys me. You see yourself as the GAM of logic which you may be for all I know but that's not really the point. I don't like wasting my time on pointless fueds but as you said yourself I will defend myself when necessary.

Ok...
I'm starting to think something in your Wi-Fi thread started this little rivalry where we take offense to every little thing said to each other even though whatever said wasn't intended to be offensive.

Yes, I'm generally a logically thinking man, especially when it comes to arguments where logic can make the truth more clear. I'm not saying I get all my logic right, which I don't think you thought I thought I did (heheh), but I wouldn't say something false on purpose in a debate if I didn't think it was true. In many cases it only takes evidence stronger than my own to change my opinion of something.
I'm also somewhat of a perfectionist; just thought you should know.
One question: What does GAM mean in the definition you used it in? The most likely meaning I found in Acronym Finder was Gamers Against Morons, which is kind of ironic but I don't think that's what you meant. And no, I have nothing to do with Gay Asian Men, which I'm sure you didn't mean either.

Maybe for the sake of the TDS community we should take our discussions into private chat, preferably IM so it can be cleared up quicker (which generally translates to less time wasted).

Y'all are a bunch of emo, tree-huggin', hybrid-drivin', vegan queerosexuals.

How anyone can miss just a bunch of faceless names is beyond me. To be honest, LN, I forgot who you were. No harm, no foul I guess. Oh, and Pilot: don't bother arguing. Not to be a rude man here, but you're not one to fare well in that sort of thing. Just let it slide and we can all be happy people.

Actually my first car will probably be all electric. No comment on the other things.

And yes, I think I will let it slide. I think my cold has made me a bit too emotionally expressive, I mean I was in like 3 arguments at once, which I've never done before. Gotta start the new year on a good note. So, with that said, I'll try to keep my mouth shut if I'm offended by anything. I keep thinking I should take a break from TDS for a few months just to cool down a bit, but that won't be an easy thing for me to do. Heck, a few months back I even considered leaving because of the arguments I keep getting in, but that would've been very hard for me to cope with.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a happy new year and can forgive each other and all that.

Dude that little "issue" was resolved... Sort of. But there's no need to get involveld. I'm sure an argument could be caused over this which wouldn't be good :P That's all i'm going to say.
