Try googling for the windows build of the xvid codec, I think kopei's build is the best, I can't remember I always use source... anyway I'm pretty sure that all those anime's use the xvid codec :)

RE: Making Movies on PictoChat!

Yeah, like Luineancaion said. Or get either XVID or DIVX (not sure what the difference is). If you play it and the video/audio aren't in sync, your ram is low (like mine ._.)

Sepharite ram shouldn't affect your sync at all, try getting mplayer, I think there is a windows version of it now, or BSPlayer is a good one for windows, other players just have too much bloat.

The difference between xvid and divx is that xvid is free-software (open source) and has a better encodingtime/quality ratio than any other codec out there, and I think it's been rated second best for quality, there was some weird codec that gave better quality, but the time it took to encode wasn't worth it.

Yeah, I got both BSPlayer and Mplayer. Still laggy.. perhaps video card? Or the video file itself?

I blame windows, format your computer sometime, or another thing you could do is download geexbox and burn it to CD, then ya just boot off it, go into the bios and set first boot device to cdrom

Download geexbox from here. http://geexbox.org/en/index.html
Burn it to CD with this program http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/I...r/download.asp I hope that helps, it should work on even the oldest computer.

It's pretty easy trust me, and a 5 meg download won't take long even if you're on dial up, and trust me geexbox somehow seems to have the best video quality I've seen from any media player, I think that it's probably tweaked to perfection.

or instead of doing all of that downloading of codecs just download media player classic. just go here http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/ and DL media player classic (scroll down the screen till you find it) . it works for all the anime i have with no special codec needed.
