So does anyone here read anymore?

If so what are some of your favourite genre's & favourite books in them?

I like sci-fi & fantasy, and also political stuff such as 1984 (one of the great pieces of english literature) & animal farm, both by George Orwell (I need to read down & out in paris, sometime).

In sci-fi I really like the Ender series such as Enders Game & Enders Shadow, which are both very easy to read books & very enjoyable.

My god yes, I'm currently reading Dan Brown books after finally reading "The Da Vinci Code". Good stuff. I don't know anyone who doesn't read books anymore. :S

Haha, well seriously, so much of that book can be proven wrong by rock solid fact.

Just because people find christian bashing fun doesn't mean you should mindlessly accept what it says as truth, now I find christians just as annoying as most people, and I don't agree with a lot of things they say.

But people should be smarter, and research what they read instead of taking it as fact just because they read it in a book, that's just as bad as believing something you read on the internet, saw on TV or heard on the radio...... USE YOUR BRAIN.

Oh by the way west, nice avatar :P

Well. I've just started on The Da Vinci-Code, but I just can't drag myself to finishing it. I'm not really a reader-type. Ahem.

What's that book about?

Anyone that does like sci-fi and battles should read Enders game & then Enders shadow, a quick summary is it's about kids who are monitored by the government for exceptional abilitys and then taken up to space and trained to become commanders in the earth fleet, they have battles in this room with 0 gravity & the teachers play mind games with the kids, though in Enders shadow the child is so exceptional he plays mind games with the adults. They are both very easy to read books, take about 3 - 4 days to get through if you're a slow reader.
