Chat Room

as most of us can tell we are growing tremendously as a forum

i personally would like us to actually use the chat system that plmars has set up (even though its still considered a "BETA" right now)

im hoping more of you guys would be interested in chatting on the chat soon.

There are currently 2 ways to get in the chat that i know of:
1. go through the browser to the link on hte forum that plmars posted (i tested it and so far ive only seen it work on internet explorer....i think also one of those messages come up.. accept that)

2. go through IRC and actaully go through the channels (which I use)

if u guys need help getting any of that set up PM me.. if ur actually intested in joining the chat segment of the community (id personally like to see more than just me,karl, and gene on the forum (gene is never there anyway...)and plmars once in a while)

The Chat does not work for everyone. I, for one, Cannot use the chat as it does not work through the site.

Would you guys like a PHP chat room on the site, or just prefer to connect to it through IRC?

IRC would be fine, so long as you guys put up a decent Javascript version that can be used right off the site...
