Choices for a new media player?
My parents always insist on buying me one big gift every christmas (I'm not complaining), and since I already have the Wii, DS, ect, I'm thinking I would like to upgrade my pitiful little 1GB MP3 player for a full-blown media player. I'm trying to avoid getting an iPod, by the way. What suggestions do you have? Currently I'm thinking this:
 Heard about it a while back, sounds fantastic. Small, big flash memory, SD expansion, and all the bells and whistles like FM tuner, voice recording, ect.

I've always favored larger-capacity players, especially for playing videos. Plus, your parents are getting it for you. Try to go as all-out on it as possible. If you do get that Creative player, be sure to invest in some good headphones. Or even a good set of cans for some home listening. Hell knows no wrath like a ****ty set of earbuds.

Well if it was me I'd grab a Zune (dude the Ipod is way more in the "hip" area than the Zune is by far... >.<)
But to each his own, I suppose.

I would and have gone for the iTouch and it's fantastic but I saw this piece of kit in blockbuster a couple of days ago and it looks nice at the very least and with a huge memory capacity and SD expansion, you can't really go wrong TBH. I would "see it in action" before you decide though.

Yeah, My sister has an Itouch.
I wouldn't bet on it. the screen gets too easily scratched....

I would get a big mini SD card and get myself a google Windows Mobile Phone. Your updating your phone and you get a new media player. heck you also get a PDA.

Or you could get a whistler!
Its really cool! You just have think of what song you want to listen to, purse your lips together and blow! Its so awesome! I bought one the other week! It only cost 35US dollarsITS WORTH IT!
