Computer tech savy people, I DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP!

Alright this is really weird. I have a 28k dial-up connection. I was browsing Facebook and it wasn't responding because MY internet is so ****ING slow and when I go to press CTRL + ALT + DELETE, I kept pressing it and all of a sudden the screen goes black then reappears where everything is rotated 90 degrees to the left. So I figured it wasn't bad so I pulled the computer plug out and put it back it. I boot it up and the Welcome screen and everything has been shifted to the left. I have no idea how this happened and what I did to cause this and right now, I'm typing to you where everything is 90 degrees to the left. Sorry for the inconvenience. I really don't want to call Dell...please someone help if they can.

Wow. I've never heard of that before. Kind of funny. Mess with your monitor settings, should be buttons on the front of your monitor.

I fixed the problem. It was:

Graphics Options > Rotation > Normal.

Whoa, that's definitely weird. You could at least buy a 56k modem, they go for about $5.

Your whole PC stopped responding because your internet connection is slow? That's unusual, maybe it's not necessarily your internet connection causing that. The rotation thing sounds like some sort of a hotkey thing that you triggered, although I wouldn't expect the keyboard to even be capable of doing anything to the monitor configuration unless it's a laptop.

That was the worst thing you could do, especially when you figured it wasn't bad and you could've properly shut it down while it was rotated. If you absolutely need to shut it down improperly, like when it completely locks up, just hold the power button for 4 seconds (for most PC's). Shutting down improperly could cause data corruption, so don't shut down improperly unless it's your only option, and sometimes you need to be patient to find out for sure if it's your only option.

Lol, it's alright. That happened to me too. I was whiping my keyboard when I guess I hit those keys... and my monitor was upside down. My parents probably thought I was retarded looking at the computer upside down - took me a while to figure it out too.
