My girlfriend beta tested Toontown, she liked it so much that she still plays it a few times a week.
Toontown is Disney's take on an MMORPG, and is very much like PhantasyStar Online in that you communicate through symbols. You can't talk with other people unless you know their secret password, which is a safety measure to keep the world sanitized for young eyes and ears. The game itself is similar to an MMO because you have quests, and can group up in parties to take out baddies. Instead of magic, the toons unleash "Gags" to defend themselves. This game isn't for everyone, but for being such a small title, it's still got a thriving community nearly 3 years after it's release. There's usually 300+ people on the server my girlfriend plays on. Sorry she can't meet ya in-game Blayke, she's out of town visiting her family.
