I've been running Vista for a few hours now, but until I can get my XP partition off the D drive letter (Vista won't let me since it's the system/boot partition) so I can switch my file partition to it, I'm not quite ready to use it as my primary OS. The only thing I can think of to get it off D is if I try a reinstall of Vista on a primary partition while the XP partition is hidden, I already tried converting from logical to primary and hiding XP but that made it so Vista wouldn't boot at all.

BTW fischju, it expires June of 2007, not the end of this month.

im using it as my primary. It installed my network without a hitch. its using most of my RAM though, and Aero isnt as good as said. it also uses 8% of my CPU. On my desktop alone, it uses half the RAM.

what spec you got again?

pilot, it sounds like you need a third party os selector

works great after a reboot after the initial boot. I got it all running great now.

Just to change drive letters? That sounds strange but what do you recommend?

Acronics Disk Selector Suite is good I hear, but it costs money :\
Maybe a boot into Knoppix might help?

search ask.com for multiple os install and you will get alot of free program....google not so much...zboot is what i recommend though. Does this beta have aero glass and stuff?

how do i enable that...? and flip and stuff... its giving my pc a 1 because i have a 128mb X800 GTO
