Download Windows Vista Public Beta 2
Hey guys, I honestly have wanted to try Vista since hearing about Aero. Anyway, Microsoft has released a public beta. Sign up here and get your Beta key and download the OS from them for free. This is 100% legal, and your beta OS lasts till January 07. Mine is downloading right now, I didn't take any chances with the 64-bit(cause not only is it larger) so I decided to stick with the 32-bit. I'm partitioning my drive in half for XP and Vista dual-boot for now until I finally decide which I want to stick with. So...thats enough from me.

mad, now all i need is a pc capable of vista... which unfortunaltly wont be my new laptop im getting... but still be sure to tell us how it is.. :D

all i have to say is dont install on your main pc it wil still be laking in alot of drivers

I can't really pass this up, but my secondary PC (or server) is likely way too slow for Vista, so I'll need to try it on my main PC if at all. Anyone know how much space the initial install takes? I only have about 20GB left on my 160GB drive.

that should be about good pilot. i couldn't pass this up either. you need to have a logical partition to dual boot. do you know how to make one? by the way, the servers are jammed...

I know how to manage partitions, I have Partition Magic to help me out, I'm using multiple partitions right now to keep my files separate from the OS files. And what do you mean by "the servers are jammed"? Explain in technical terms if you can.
