DVD +/-RW

Those of u that have a DVD Burner, is it possible to put more than one CD-ROM game on one DVD Disc? The reason I ask this is because I want to have back-up copies of my games, just in case my original copy is damaged or lost. I don't want to use a whole bunch of CD-RW discs, only because they can't hold enough memory. So, can a DVD-R or DVD-RW hold more than one game, if u burn one on it?

yeah. Just use alcohol 120% and rip the image off the cds and store as files on the DVD.

to answer your first question i have not tried to back up any of my games on dvd at the moment i just get no cd crakes for my games but you will be able to put them on there just don’t know about running them after but there is always a way for these things.

and there is no difference in the capacity of DVD-R and DVD-RW the only difference is that you can only burn DVD-R once then you cant burn them again but with DVD-RW you can take stuff off and on as much as you want with a dvd burner so is usable again but if it just for games that you will want to keep use DVD-R as they are cheaper and you cant delete the continent so will be safer to keep games.......

Of course you can always use dvd+r dl. Thats like 8.5GB

but dont you need a newer dvd burner for thouse and dont dvd 9 hold 9GB because they use two layers?

When I put the DVD in the drive, would all of the games start? That is my problem(not really a problem, but more of a question).

By burning two games, you mean ripping them and then burning, right? (obviously =P)

If you burn them into two seperate folders, I don't think AUTO will load.

My friend said that I would have to make a menu. I don't want to, I just want to disable AUTO and run it from START-RUN-D:\?????. ????? would mean the file.

That depends on the game. You might b able to do that but most of new games have a copy protection on them. And let me tell you they are getting better and better with it.
