The views are pretty dated. A lot of detail is missing from certain areas around my neighborhood.

Yeah, I've had the free version a long time now. It works excellently. You just type in a street adress, city, and state and it zooms right in. My house was cut off by a lower res picture by just a couple houses, but oh well, I found my neighborhood. Can't really complain when you can find every area of the earth with satelite imagery. Of course some of it will be old. Actually, date-wise it's better than the satelite program that the 911 service uses. I recently went to the emergency center (boy scouts), and they had much higher resolution pictures, but in exchange for that it was much older imagery. A friend's house was very well imaged (they didn't have many things to do, but some really cool computer set ups), but because of the dating, his several year old pool did not show up. Oh well, they just use it for navigation.

Did I mention they have cool computers? Really awesome processors and four flatscreen lcd monitors.

Its not always right for addresses mine was off by a mile and a half...u just have to look around
