I'm really getting kinda tired of nintendo "fanboys" bashing psp. and sony "fanboys" bashing the DS. If you are a real gamer its not about the logo on the system that should make you buy or not buy a product. I think if you like psp then get it, same for the ds. dont say "oh its not nintendo... it sucks, i aint gettin it".

To me; LOGO's count. Sega refuses to back up system and have let everything from the past 10 years die before it's time. Microsoft ruins just about everything it touches, with notable expection of "Visual Studio".... But Nintendo... Nintendo will be linked to the earlie child hood of all the 20-somethings around the modernized world.... Nintendo saved the industry and Nintendo has Mario.

I can't really justify buying 2 current-generation systems (if i buy any at all) so why would i buy one without my old friend mario.

Well to be honest this is a forum and forums are to express your/our feelings, thoughts and views upon the systems and this being a DS dedicated site you really can't expect no hard feelings brought to the PSP.

As long as people have different opinions, fanboys shall remain.

I think the only way to get rid of FanBoys is for someone to make a law about no more fanboys. Violators shall be under house arrest for 2 months! That will never happen, because part of living in the US is to be free to express your opinion.

This is a messageboard! It's very idea is the exchange of information, ideas, and opinions. To say "no more fandom" is like saying noone here is free to express their opinion.

MS doesn't ruin everything they touch, if they did Bungie, Rare, and Visual Concepts would have been driven into the ground. On the contrary, either dev is allowed to take as much time as they want to perfect their product. Case in point, WHERE THE HELL IS KAMEO OR CONKERS ALREADY? Meh, no wonder Ninty dropped those britons.

im not posting to say "you shouldnt like nintendo only or you shouldnt like sony only" etc. im posting to say "dont judge a system by the label it has" i know alot of you are fanboys of nintendo and said right when psp was announced that it would fail next to the DS. that's is all that i am saying.

I think if this were a general gaming board then you might have a point, but it's not, it's one devoted to nintendo. Fanboys are just a given.

To be fair wasn't RARE kinda of an "arms-length" Microsoft company?

And i don't recal saying that i didn't like Sony, but that i wasn't going to buy both an Sony and Nintendo, so therefore I wouldn't by Sony at all...

MS owns over 50 percent of RARE's stock, with I believe the Stamper bros. holding on to the remainders. If they RARE ever has any sort of say in the matter, it's only because they're across the pond.

RARE stand no chance on their own sadly. Only one company can release it's game's at it's own will, and that's Blizzard. They have such a huge user base that it's common for their new releases to sell out their complete first print. I.E. Diablo, Diablo II, Warcraft II, Warcraft III, Starcraft, Broodwar and most recently World of Warcraft.
