RE: How do I?

Popular Science has a short segment about the new SansDisk Ultra II SD Plus. The cool part is that if you fold the card in half, it reveals a USB 2.0 plug, that you can easily just pop into your comp- no specialized readers or writers required. If Play-Yan comes out in the US, this is a must have.

RE: Will they Cost money?

sorry if this question has been answered, but what is Play-Yan? It isn't that big a deal to me, because i already have a reader. ;-)

RE: Will they Cost money?

Play-Yan is the media attatchment for the DS. It can play MPEG-4 video and MP3 music, and has been out in japan for a while. It uses SD cards as a storage device. IGN even said that the attatchment was easier to use than PSPs media system.

I've heard AND (I think) seen the card before. It's really quite interesting. Brings in new possibilities for media transfer, rather than the average "pop the card in a card reader" bit.
