Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but...

Here's the source link: http://research.microsoft.com/%7Eawi...nd/default.htm

I saw this quite a while ago, too. At the bottom of the page, you can clearly see text reading, "last edited on 04/26/2004."

Also, this product was in development way before we even knew Nintendo was going to have the controller that it has. Soooo... who copied off of who? Who knows...

EDIT: Even more evidence. If you watch the video, it is clearly dated "4/7/2002."

There was no market for it at the time. That, and it was never able to be properly mass-produced. 'Twas just another general Microsoft gadget... blah blah blah.

We've been over this people...

the Revoution controller is not the first of it's type...
and the DS wasn't even the first video game system with a touch screen.

That's not really the issue here,
it's all about Nintendo's take on this techonology.

Even if Nintendo isn't first to do it, they're often the first to make it successful. Why let an abandoned (but good) idea die? Nintendo sees the potential and puts it out at a time when people are ready for it. They could probably do a new and improved version of the Virtual Boy in a couple years and people might actually dig it, seeing that Nintendo just keeps getting better and better at designing their products and releasing them at a time when the industry is ready for it.
