Or you could just take it off...
Pilot makes a fine point however... The Warthog turret would be TERRIBLE in real combat. "Hey, you climb on the back! Yeah, I know the only support you'll have is your soon-to-shatter knees, it will be impossible to aim when the thing's moving, and you'll be in the most exposed position on the vehicle, but you'll look so cool!"
