Hay guys im having a reasearch paper on Veterans Day. I need answeres fast because i cant seem to find what im looking for. I need to know...
What is it? How did it start?(history of holiday when did it become a national holiday? How has it been celebrated over the years? What types of memorials have been created, both in the United States and around the world, to honor or celebrate U.S. veterans?(veriety) List the major U.S. wars or conflicts. You should know location and dates too. A current organization that is helping veterans of Iraq and Afganistan. Walter Reed Army Medical Center. (what do they do) What is the Veterans of foriegn Wars (VFW)? Hint: this is a community organization. I really need help so if you guys could tell me what it is and give me the site i would really appreciate it!

Veterans = veterans. Unless you're talking about some private organization, they're all covered under the same government programs regardless of which war they were in.

I know its just i didnt really get what my teacher meant by that but is it possible you can find some cause i tried and have no idea what it means. Does anyone know what it means?
I have another question you know wikipedia anyone can just type stuff up on thier and it might not be true so i need another source and fast cause this is my last day. Same stuff...

Use Wikipedia. Its accuracy is on par with the encyclopedia britanica.

Agreed. It's true that anyone can put anything on Wikipedia, but most users are smarter than to put false information on it and anyone who spots something incorrect would simply correct it. Incorrect articles in Wikipedia are about as likely as in any other encyclopedia or professional publication. Professional writers are human too.

Intelligent people put information on wikipedia that may appear completely true and would make sense with what the article is saying, but isn't actually true. Not all wikipedia vandalism is penis nonsense, and these ones are a lot harder to find.
I love wikipedia but I always take everything I read on there(unless it matches other articles i've read) with a pinch of salt.
