Actually it's been quite active lately, compared to what it was about 3 months ago. Instead of 0 - 5 threads with new posts each day I check, it's getting something like 8 - 16. Not as active as the early life of TDS, but it's not far from it.
Aside from activity, there probably isn't much of anything new since you were last here. But anyway, welcome back!

Most of the time TDS loads fine, but there have been a number of annoying times where it just stopped working while I was browsing the forums or submitting a post and I spend the next 3 minutes just trying to get it to load. There's also a few pesky bugs that need fixed.
