Tutorial: How to set up mIRC

I thought I should make a tutorial on how to set up and connect to IRC..
It's very easy, if you've never used mIRC before, follow this small step by step tutorial.

1.
First you got to http://www.mirc.com and go to the download section, select a server to download from.

When the download finish, install mIRC.

3.
Open mIRC, this window will pop up on launch:

If not, press this button:


4.
When options window is open, go to 'Servers', right under 'Connect'
There you should find a list like this:

Scroll down until you find DALnet listed, choose it, and below that, there is listed servers:

Just connect to any of them.

5.
On the list to the right, go to Connect, and type in your nickname, and an Alternative nickname in case someone have already taken you nick.

6.
Last step, press either or

And most importan of all, type '/join touchds' in the main window!

chuddy, irc is a normal chat room. in fact it is the greatest chat program ever created.

No one has been online in that channel for a long time, but I'll start to be there if people actually comes there.

And if you've followed the tutorial step by step, you should be able to join #touchds.
