Video Games Live!

Hello Forum, chuddy here! Yeah, that guy who never comes on anymore... Anyway, just asking about the well known concert that travels around the world: Video Games Live. Anyone know of it? I'm going to it in a few days time, so I'll grab some coverage and some pics for everyone to look at. Anyone else been to it? Thoughts and comments! x

I've heard about it and seen some videos. It's interesting but the videos didn't impress me much. Some of the music is heavily remixed from the original to the point where it's not even recognizable and I wouldn't be surprised if they threw in their own music at times. I think that's especially the case when they play a compilation of music such as the 8-bit video I saw. What I want to hear in a concert like that is the original music as precise as possible to give that nostalgic feeling the warm fuzzies. I think they did a pretty good job doing that with Zelda and Halo, but the Mario theme is incredibly prone to getting remixed.
Aside from the negatives, it's nice to see the concert industry taking hold of gaming.
