Definitely, Simpsons was pretty awesome, and a big surprise for me, considering how not-so-awesome it's doing on TV.
Superbad is pure dirty jokes. If you liked Knocked Up or 40 YOV then you'll love it. Maybe a clip will convince you: (DO NOT WATCH THIS IF YOU ARE UNDER 18 *cough* VERY NAUGHTY IMAGES)

Gosh, I hate it when people ***** on the state of Simpsons at the moment. It's called evolution. And to be honest, although the early 90's ones were classics in their own right, to say the newer ones arn't funny and find those funnier is stupidity. The show has changed because before it was primarily focused on Bart and his antics. Lately its been more of an even share, but with Homer taking a lot of it, and to be frank, I think he's a munch more entertaining character. Simpsons movie was great, and did what it said on the tin, only complaint was letting too much out on trailers.
Spiderman was the only let down for me this summer, but then again, im tired of the bull**** Hollywood has sent out this summer. All these films had the epic thing going on, but not much else. But, you know, you're not expecting much else, Pirates for instance had the whole 'wow, big battle' thing going on. I didn't bother with Transformers mainly because I didnt get round to it, and the fact it would probably ruin a lot of childhood memories. Harry Potter was pretty decent considering what they had to work with. Easily not my favorite in the series, and the most masturbatory of all the books condensed down into a neat film. To be fair, it had the best direction of all the Potter films, and all the performances were excellent, more so than most of the blockbusters this summer. I may watch Superbad, but it looks like the sorta affair where you've gotta be off your tits to enjoy, which i have no problems with. That clip didn't do much to convince me, seemed like something out of family guy, which in turn isn't a good thing. Although i'll still watch it, I just hope its decent, because I haven't lol'd properly at an American comedy film in a very long time. The last great comedy hailed by everyone, Little Miss Sunshine was over hyped **** in my opinion, a few funny jokes, but it had a decent script, good cast, but it failed in the laughs department.

I don't want to argue but just admit, Simpsons is not (as?) funny now. Heh, evolution? It's not evolution, the old writing cast retired or moved on to bigger things (ex: Conan O' Brien), while the new ones are, I guess, not as funny. Then again, they are still doing a great job trying to keep it fresh, when the old Simpsons practically took every idea.
Oh man, don't remind me about Spiderman. I was soooo hyped for that movie and what a letdown. I almost cried. =(
