Yes, it seems like I do this often. I might as well do this every 6 months just to see if anyone has splurged on a new comp. I've been upgrading (as always).
CPU: Intel P4 3.0ghz
RAM: 2gb Corsair XMS DDR400
Video: Sapphire X800 XT Platinum Edition 256mb (agp) OC'ed (core=540mhz, Mem=1200mhz)
HDD1: Western Digital 160gb ATA
HDD2: Western Digital 30gb ATA
I have this friend that gets all his computer parts from his grandparents. His computer is TEH PWN.

He has like 6 computers. He sold me his 2 weeks old video card (X800 XT Platinum Edition) for $100. That card cost $400 brand new. I got such a good deal. Any of you guys get an awesome deal on computer parts?

Yes, you certainly do. Get a raptor and upgrade the ram a tad and you've got a pretty good gaming laptop... wow, gaming laptop...

jim are you shoure you friend knows that much about pc's as he has a good prossesor but if he knows anything about overclocking he can get the same performance from a much cheap cpu and they will clcok to the same speeds and he cant have ddr2 as amd do not support ddr2 yet the will with AM2 but thats not out till later this year and then there is no point have more then 2gb in your system will work faster with only 2 as it only has to split the work betwwen 2 slots rather then 4 which will also mean that you will have to run them in T2 rather then T1 in wich there is a huge diffrence and there are no amount of programs that people will use that mean they need 4gb and if he is runing xp home then it can only see and use 3.5gb of he ram anyway....
