That's so funny, before I started dating my girl, I tried to get a girl to see Farhenheit 9/11.. she said "Michael Moore gives me nightmares"
needless to say, I blocked her from MSN and haven't wasted another second on her...

Hahaha, I haven't ever listened to Michael Moore very much, he seems entertaining from the little I've heard and appeals more to a broader range of people, but I hear he twists facts.

I'm more into Noam Chomsky, Professor of linguistics at MIT university, world renowned political speaker & an anarchist.

I watched Der Untergang a couple of hours ago. Great movie, though a little too long for it's own good.

Yeah,
Michael Moore has his beliefes, not so much of a "twisting" but just shading the gray in his favour.

He never lies, but he might make things appear slighly worse then they are.
For example, the first part of F 9\11, is all about Bush's relation w/ the Suadi's. But every president has relations with the Saudi's and also everyone in the oil industry.
Still doesn't make me sleep any easier....

I've heard of Noam Chomsky, maybe when i'm out of school I'll have a chance to read his works...

I'm not an anarchist, but I am a hard core socialist. I feel sorry for American's because they keep getting stuck with two choices for president, the right wing, and the far right wing.

Gore sucks, Liberman is a jack@$$, Chenny is a lier, John Edwards is useless twurp, Kerry is a idiot and Bush is..... errr..... (i should shut up at this point seeing as many of the readers are American).

That said Farhenhiet 9/11 and Outfoxed are both worth watching.

Yea, I don't really fit in to any of the molds, anarchist because I don't like centralized points of power and I think people should have power over themselves but not over others, and I agree heavily with socialists.

A lot of GNU users are anarchist/socialist because of the freedom that comes with the software to have complete control over our computers, to also be able to share with our friends & family, & no company has power over it because it's owned by no-one.

I should check out F9/11 sometime I guess, I want to see supersize me sometime, but those all seem rather mainstream so I'm usually a bit wary of those things, but of course with anything you are told you should question it, as Noam Chomsky said, when you hear something the first thing you should ask yourself is "Is that true? Does it line up with the facts?".

Technically, the "whole" government is BS, not just individuals. And all Michael Moore does is enforce the obvious... nothing more. Still <3 him though =)

thats true.. the last movie I saw was SAW I give it a 10/10 it's a good movie with a neat twist at the end ;) also..I guess I'm kinda into those movies..
