Attention all TouchDS members! IGN has just released the "Wii launch guide." It includes everything on the upcoming console, such as, the games, all the features of the Wii, and the Wii channels.

This launch guide has everything the public knows, so far atleast, and some things a lot of people might not know yet. As for me, well, I already knew most of the information released in the launch guide, and I am guessing most of you members already knew. Also, if you haven't heard, the Wii is going to be priced at $249.99 in the US, £179 in the Europe and 25,000 yen in Japan, but sadly for people living in Australia, they will have to cough up $399.95 for the system, which is ridiculous. The games will be the same as current gen games, $49.99. The Wii-mote will be sold at $39.99, the nunchuk and the classic controller will be sold for $19.99.

The launch guide has links to an eight page faq on the Wii. It contains even more than the launch guide. You can see five buttons at the top of the page, HARDWARE, GAMES, WII ONLINE, HOOKING IT UP, and BEYOND THE LAUNCH. Only one of the buttons you can go to, for the time being, because we don't know everything about the others to be able to release all the info yet. We will have to wait until the 31st of this month to be able to go to the games section, November 7th to see Wii online, November 17th for hooking it up, and the 1st of December to see Beyond the launch. I don't know about you, but the only thing I'm waiting for (trying my hardest atleast) is the Wii itself. For more information about the Wii, check out the launch guide for yourself here

actually 399.95 is cheap.... ps3 is 999.95, and 360 pro package is 599.95... plus yehi think once you factor in currency conversion its not as bad... besides australias used to getting shunned in the games department, its either more expensive, delayed, censored or disallowed :P

They released the Games section today. I'm checkin' that out right now.
And today, they released the "Wii Online" section.
