If anything, these shots are of LOWER quality than the real-game, considering we're seeing badly done scans/pics of the mag, and not seeing the full-quality pic.

Anyone who's a doubter that the Rev can pull that off is an idiot. If 'Cube can do RE4, Rev can do this easy. Ubisoft has no reason to use doctored photos, they're very familiar with the hardware and this doesn't seem so mindblowing that they couldn't render that real-time no prob.

The original Prince of Persia looked amazing and that was a first-cycle Gamecube game. I'm sure 5 years later they have enough experience with the hardware, not to mention the upgrade to it, to pull something like Red Steel off.

First-cycle next-gen games generally are supposed to look marginally better than last-cycle current-gen games, and this holds to that assumption.

I totally expect this game to look BETTER than these screens. There should be no doubts.

the gamecube can do almost the same graphics as the xbox, even though its comparitevly underpowered, because of its architecture, which the revoltution is based on. and nintendo helped out ubisoft with this and we all know what nintendo can pull off

No doubt the Rev can pull this off. It's just that with such badly taken photos (that's right, these are pictures, NOT SCANS), it's hard to determine the quality of the game itself. The only pic that gives this game any justice is the first one. Whomever took these should never pick up a camera again (or at least adjust ISO for better quality). From what I can see, this game is definitely looking better than many top-notch GC titles. Let's hope that this game, in terms of gameplay, fares well.
