Thats cool. Talking about reviews, Gamespot has the best reviews in my opinion. They are the only one's I trust.
For a lot of games they are usually the harshest.

Yeah, but they aren't friendly to unoriginal concepts. These days they wouldn't give a WWII shooter anything above a 8.9, regardless of quality.

Yeah reviews almost never lie about anything, they're just heavily opinionated and they tend to make huge deals out of tiny problems.
Good thing BF1942 was on the WW2 scene early to get a really good rating, or perhaps it's BF1942 that set the high and all those others don't meet up to it and "regardless of quality" might not be true.

Man, speaking of that, I'm heavily considering buying Call of Duty 2 now. MAN ANOTHER GAME ON THE LIST?!?!? It only got an 8.8 at gamespot, but it's on the top ten of Xfire multiplayer total minutes for a while, and the singleplayer mission on the demo is downright amazing. I've played it through about ten times and it's not getting old yet thanks to difficulty settings. I never got heavy into WWII shooters to begin with other than 1942, so might as well get some of the cream of the crop.
