A new article on Japanese gaming site Level Up has stated that the highly-anticipated Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will contain more than 100 hours of possible gameplay included.
Eiji Aonuma, director of the game, has always said that the amount of playtime depends on how many sidequests and how much exploration the player decides to do. If the game does indeed exceed 100 hours, then it will make it's name as the biggest Zelda game yet, dwarfing even Ocarina of Time, and even putting it among the longest adventure games ever. The article continues on to say that the new and improved game mechanics, causing the long delay, will set a benchmark for Zelda games to come. Level Up has also posted some wonderful, albeit low-quality, shots of the game. With every new piece of information, the wait becomes more agonizing. Stay tuned to Nwizard for more on what's lining up to be possibly the greatest video game in history. Source: Nwizard.com (Thanks Psycho_11)

I think most hardcore gamers will be able to take it in a lot less than 100...

If this holds true, I may have a heart attack. I agree, nmaster, this could become THE greatest game of all time. A new realistic 3D Zelda game is like... ultimate Nirvana for me. Seriously, this game is already AWESOME-looking as it is. They're just adding icing to the cake (a cake that is 50ft tall, and oh so delicious).
Bring on the Twilight Princess!! |
