No, I found both ants, they were the first two bugs I found. The one I'm looking for is a beetle in the field north of the castle.

ones in the tress (On the outskirts) and ones on the floor, near a tree at the start of one of the entrances

As I said, I spent hours looking around, including the trees on the outskirts, also using the sense ability so it stands out better. Well at least now I know where to focus my searching intently, don't give me any more hints unless I ask.
