Most notably Red Steel has scored pretty well in it "Red Steel (Ubisoft): 8,9,9,8". And for what its worth, IGN UK gave Red Steel an 8.
What does this mean? Well it means Famitsu>Gamespot. There really are only 2 gaming publications in the world i truly trust with reviews and their unbiased stance, and they are EDGE and Famitsu.

Famitsu is Japanese. Gamespot is American. Different cultures here, ya know. They tend to like weirder stuff? Besides, a lot of people don't like Red Steel because of its horrible controls.

Im just sick of the bias Gamespot has had as of late, theyve obviously taken a package from Microsoft, theyve basically downplayed alot of PS3 and Wii games and news while at the same time hailing Gears of Wars as one of the best games ever when its pretty clear its nothing more then a great but tried and tested FPS.

I don't agree with you at all there BigNads. While perhaps Gamespot have accepted a "package" from Microsoft, Gears of War is NOT a tried and tested RPG. I've argued this with a X360 owneer - two months from it's launched he argued "it's nothing special" - and in the end I was right.

Having said that though, I agree there is something strange with the Wii ratings (the PS3 ratings? Well, they don't really have a great launch title do they?!)

You havent played Resistance for the PS3 have you?
It's a kick but game. And could be one of the best fpss ever.
