Fire Emblem Wii

Alright idk if many of you have played the GC one... other than maybe mario_famous, but im typing it out anyway.

This new Fire Emblem seems to be a sequel of Path of Radiance. One of the main characters (the guy) looks exactly like an older Sothe from the game. While he was far from being a huge part in PoR, he did have a somewhat interesting backstory. At the end, i think i remember he was searching for someone. And the chic in this game looks exactly like Ilyana (the chic mage) from PoR, except she has a different eye color... And Sothe is styled/dressed exactly like his younger self in PoR, but this new chic isn't styled/dressed like Ilyana... so who knows.





But yeah... Sothe in this game pretty much makes it a high probability that its a sequel. Wikipedia also pointed out that "At the end of the game, another character, Sephiran, mentions that the causes and effects of the war depicted in Path of Radiance may cause a new war to begin. If true, the conflict in this new Fire Emblem may be what Sephiran had mentioned."

I'm told, yes. Sadly, I will not know for a while more. Borrowing from a friend who bought it recently. I've also got to get through Wind Waker before TP comes out, but that shouldn't be too hard.

i never got the GCN version. i have both US GBA games though. I would import the Japanese ones, but its too hard to read.

yeah i freakin love the GC one, it has a great story that rivals #7 and a whole lot of new features/classes.

Yeah, the GC one rocks. Just like the ones for the GBA. I hope they bring back the "Blood" trait and special abilities like in Fire Emblem 4.

blood trait? like how the characters can bond and have kids in-game?

yeah that would be cool... i didn't get very far in numero 4

I love the game in general but cannot help feeling that it's just a little too difficult for my average gaming skills.

If only there were options. Although the challenge, which is partially why Fire Emblem is good, is removed, I will finally get to see an ending of these games!

lol the fire emblem games are actually much harder in japan... like for PoR they took off "Maniac" mode (after hard) and then put in an "easy" mode for everyone else.

on hard mode... at the end ashnard uses the medallion and has powers and health that rival god... seriously =P

im sure easy mode is pretty easy though... i never tried it but it can't be that bad.

The only thing I hate about the "Blood" trait is, after the people have thier kids, in most cases you can't play with them anymore. I would hate it if I favored a character then they dissappear. If they add it, they need to make the lost character unlockable.
