Because Guitar Hero has a guitar that's made so simple and different that it has nothing to do with real guitar skill. I doubt that even half of the best Guitar Hero players could play a real guitar properly if their life depended on it.
If you've ever played something like AmplituDS, you should understand that the concept of Guitar Hero is considerably easy to learn compared to a real instrument.
