I know! TP is probably the best Wii game out right now! It has good Gameplay Life, its extremely long, and its fun!
Oh yeah, it also has the best graphics to date on the Wii.

I just spent another chunk of the day playing TP, I think about 6 hours at least (I don't feel like checking what it really was right now), and last weekend I spend over 5 hours. The story seems like I'm already near the end yet there's evidence everywhere that I've only scratched the surface. I'm at about 25 hours total.

Just before the Lakebed Temple. I went down to it but I think I need to slow down a bit before going in, I've revealed a lot of area that I should check out more thoroughly, making sure I've blown up all the road blocks and whatnot.

I just finished the lake bed temple, and I found out theres a ton left. I'm about 29 hrs in.

I just got to the Desert Oases, which was a good point to stop after spending 7:31 playing without breaks (other than emptying my clothes from the dryer). I went all the way to 8:30PM and I didn't eat since about 9AM, so no need to say I was starving for something to eat when I stopped. My total time is now 37:11.
Also Wraith, you didn't need to spoiler protect telling me that I have no idea how much longer I have, it's not a spoiler. Just don't tell me any of the storyline. I recommend using a better method of spoiler protection, like formatting the font to be really hard to read by accident. BTW, I might have no idea how long I really have left, but I know I'm still much closer to the beginning than the end, and I'm expecting at least 100 hours at my rate as Nintendo said themselves.

has anyone completed the cavern of Despair
or Ordeals (the one in the Dessert)
Its sooo freaking hard!!!

If it was 70 hours for me then I'm much further than I expected, that would mean I'm around half-way through the game. I was told by Biggy that the whole Twilight deal was more of an introduction, but if it takes a good 30% of the game than I'd say it's more than an introduction and rather the first big part out of several parts.
Do you remember about what your total time was when you entered the desert?
