Some religions say to kill the enemy and other religions say to love the enemy, there's much different in every religion. The basis of all religions is what they believe in, whether an ultimate deity or unproven humanistic beliefs (evolution counts as a religion), for the most part everything else is just side-rules meant to make the believers better according to the religion.
