oh GOD no the Loading

Nintendo had a really brilliant cd drive in the GC which was optimised for fast loading times. games could even be streamed from the disk if necessary (The wind waker and the last star wars rebel strike game from factor 5). I love it like that. i hate long loading times, breaks the immersion.
So i was wondering if the revolution will have the same kind of loading times
(nintendo said a long time ago that they wouldn't tolerate loading times but that was a long time ago). I ask this because from what i hear the revoution will use dvds as its storage medium. Does this mean PS2 like loading times or doen anyone know different?

The Rev will use the small disks similar to the GC so I guess it'll have similar loading times.

PS2's loading times sucked badly. so do the PSPs but not as bad

i think that the load times will be nonexistant and/or minimal

i dont think that there will be long loading times as nintendo will not use standard dvd's (my opion) they will modify them in some way and the drive that they use will have to very versitile as it will have to play at game cubs disk speed and spin backwards. so i dont think you have to worry about loading times.

The NGC uses DVD's (not DVD video mind you, open your books too NEXTGEN 11/00, boys and girls) so no reason the revolution should be any different.

The playstation could stream levels from the CD too.
