Yeah, I've never quite understood that. But I've had people tell me before: "can your 'Cube play music CD's. Haha, well my <insert "PS2" or "Xbox" here> can."

I never got why you'd want to use your game console as an expensive CD player, but whatever. I admit though using your own music in-game is a decently cool feature, though I'd probably never use it...

where the hell are you getting i was saying that GC prices are gonna be lowered that low i didn't mention anything related to that lol and I already said that in my last entry I said "now i know that i CAN'T do this , I was just wondering" lol

ummm idk why I would listen to music on my Revo I was just wondering if they would do it this time around but I liked the Xbox's CD setup where you could download them I thought that was pretty kool and plus in Xbox GTA's you could listen to the music you have downloaded on radio stations

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I'm guessing you meant any of the downloadable games (NES, SNES, and N64) would be $10 max. Is that right?

Well, didn't know precicely where to put this, but there was some interesting stuff in IGN's Wii mailbag, and I love reviving my own old topics. When I have a reason.

Matt, we know that Nintendo is going to have all of its classic games on the virtual console. But what about new games?

Matt responds: Well, yes, I can confirm that Nintendo and its teams are already creating an assortment of ground-up original titles for the Virtual Console. I know of several games in the works, but unfortunately am unable to write about them specifically. What I can state is that many of these titles will be very simple and intended as easily accessible gameplay outings.

Will the Wii's Virtual Console have downloadable add-ons? I mean, if Activision release downloadable extras for Call of Duty 3 on Xbox 360 (which they probably will), won't Wii owners feel short changed? That's why I think the VC should also be used to download extras for games such as extra maps and crap like that. Have Nintendo mentioned anything about this?

Matt responds: Yes, it will. Nintendo's development studios have confirmed that they are already evaluating ways to use Wii24Connect to offer downloadable extras to gamers. Nintendo has specifically said that Animal Crossing for Wii might do this and when quizzed on the subject, the Metroid Prime 3 team indicated that this was also a possibility for the game. It's absolutely going to happen and, in fact, it may be almost invisible to the end user since Wii24Connect is, as the name suggests, always on. You may get these downloadable additions to your Wii games as you sleep.

Matt doesn't know a whole lot, he's calling it Wii24Connect instead of WiiConnect24, and Nintendo hasn't really confirmed Animal Crossing for Wii, they just used it as an example. At least he got the new information across clearly, it doesn't look like the kind of info he'd easily screw up.
