RE: Wi-Fi Info revealed!

That's not the way it would work, it would sense how you tilt, not point, the controller to aim. More like a mouse than a lightgun really. The analog stick would be your strafing and movement.

As for the last part, look up Lost Magic DS. Similar thing, but with the touch screen.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: The Revolution Controller Unvelied

Yes i hope Nintendo does look upon all genres. But i think there is a great opportunity in the FPS market if they get it right. FPS has grown and improved a lot since the older days. Its all about how they will ( game dev's) implement and make the game work. It has potential. Older games are older games and they are good. But this stuff will be new in the meaning they will feel different. It will feel a lot different to the older light gun games.

Shadow, thats why i referred to PC fps's as example. RPGs would be cool, but Im a fan of RTS's and i think that would be cool also.

RE: Shape up

Yeah I know, but really. TEH TILTING (!!!!1111111) is not revolutionary.

But I guess all we can do is wait and see, really. Revolution looks like the most interesting next-gen console imo. Just not because of the FPS games.

RE: Shape up

It will certainly be a savior to console FPS to me. I hate the current console FPS.

RE: Re: RE: New Site!

Yes, Sega's done it for years, but we've only seen a few good titles that really use it. Now we may see it truly evolve into it's own genre.

Also, the last lightgun game was made a couple years back, I'm pretty sure it was the last Time Crisis. It was said that after that, we'd never see a lightgun game again. I'm happy to see that they were wrong...

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: The Revolution Controller Unvelied

Time Crises are awesome, aren't they the ones that you pay like full price for and they last all of thirty minutes? ;)

Ah well, good times at friends house playing that!

Don't be fooled, althouh I'm excited about this, Nintendo could get the Revo wrong. I'm just praying they don't.

Nah, they probably won't. I'm willing to bet puppies that they know what they're doing.

It really sounds you're quoting from someone... its time to get over the light gun thing and how its not revolutionary i think.
