Um, I think you're mixing zombie games here. So far, three zombie games have been confirmed for next-gen consoles. The screens here are from
Possession, a game where you control zombies taking over a city. Controlling zombies will be a welcome change I imagine, but somehow the developers managed to paste some lame-ass plot over it. "Bringing down evil corporations" or something equally as unoriginal and unnecessery. Yawn. The other zombie game, which I must admit looks about a hundred times better and will be the first game I'll pick up for my Xbox 360, is called
Dead Rising and starrs you as a reporter trapped in a mall. An interesting gameplay aspect will be having to choose between rescuing other innocent people suffering from zombie attacks, or taking pictures of them being eaten. Another promising feature will be your ability to pick up and use almost anything as a weapon, ranging from the classic chainsaw to the more untraditional gas-fueled lawnmower. Also, Dead Rising is the zombie game capable of pushing around
1000 zombies on-screen at once, which will make for some ******* amazing setpieces. Possession on the other hand, will
only be capable of handling about 300 zombies on-screen at once. Still, that's quite a few zombies.
Just for referance, a picture of Dead Rising:

Edited: Still, notice that the game doesn't have that many different character models. Also, I forgot to say, I can't remember a single thing about that third zombie game I mentioned earlier.
